This is it folks. The single best and most authentic Sonora style Mexican restaurant of them all. This Anaheim street location is their first of what is now 5 locally. I've been going there to eat twice a month for about 40 years, and have never been dissatisfied. Only the prices change, but not the size of the burrito (I think) and definitely not the quality. Always fresh, large and delicious. I have always gotten the same damn thing. The Casa Special Lengua Burrito (everything on it (guacamole, sour cream, salsa, small lettuce salad, red sauce). I've also had their superb Chile relleno combo plate, and a couple times their home made tacos. I've never left hungry.
Parking and bathroom available. Grungy Mexican style interior and exterior. One TV playing Mexican programs, sports and news. Full complete menu of items (and it's huge). Salsa bar for you to add things. Free all you can eat fresh made chips. Indoor and outdoors seating. Trust me... not much to look at, but all your Mexican food needs will be met.

This location I've patronized since 1997. I had a horrible flu and the chicken soup was recc. Been having chicken soup from here since. As with time things change, some good, some bad. I've had several orders wrong and ate it anyways. I've had a beautiful container of string beans, tiny corncobs pcs, potatoes, tons of huge carrots, chayote sqash, zucchini, tender ckn breast and clean and rich flavorful ckn stock, clean chips and all the go withs.
Well... that has all changed for the worse! REVERSE ALL OF WHAT I LISTED! Add the devil-eyed lady who takes your order, the chips looked asif they had been used to clean the oil used for frying... old trick! (potatoes can be used for that reason as well).
They all appear to be doing us a favor by coming here!
(Do you realize how many Mexican restaurants there are in Long Beach, Lakewd etc)? My last container of casa sanchez chickwn soup was sub standard. 1 broken green bean, potatoe pcs, remnants of squash?, pointed corn tip,HUGE carrots, pcs of ckn breast AND floating chicken fat skin!!!!
    I'M  SO D O N E!

Burrito review... Yuck. Flavor less beans and meat. I ordered the carnitas burrito. I was expecting rice and beans but it was all beans just a little meat.
    Never again!
I love other things here. I especially love the salsa bar but I don't no recommend the burrito

Stopped here for lunch and ordered the nachos. Prices are very affordable and they have a variety of food items. The service was quick and the staff was friendly.
The nachos were pretty good, the chips tasted home made and came with reasonable amount of toppings- cheese, beans, guacamole, and sour cream. I asked to have "el pastor" (marinated pork).  They also have a salsa bar,  but the salsas on there are not spicy at all. If you like the heat, ask for their habanero salsa which they keep behind the counter.

Been eating here since I was in High school. Has one of the best carné asada nachos and get an extra large coke to go with it. Service is fast and the food is delicious. Also can't go wrong with their wet burritos or fried fish dinner.
